HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOUSE

Lion Bob Madeson recognized several Lions for their work on the McGregor house and invited all to the dedication ceremony on October 2nd.

CORN FEED APPRECIATION

Special thanks to the Grounds Managers for the 2011 Corn Feed:  Lions Scott Turner, Mike Jackson, Tom Spencer and Walt Ford.  Also to our Sentence to Serve folks -- Pat Scollard and his guys.  These people do "the Lion's share" of set up and take down on the grounds.

Also, thank you to all the "department heads" for taking on the responsibility of your areas.  With your dedication and hard work, each booth or area runs smoothly.

Our Gambling department works very hard for this event.  Lions Jerry Feucht, Tom Spencer, and Pat McGinn deserve praise for their long hours and efforts.  Raffle ticket sales top sellers were Lions Bob Johnson, Al Norman and Tom Spencer.  (Not many Lions Clubs have a singing Gambling Mgr; ours doubles as "Karaoke King!")

Our Club's Corn Feed proceeds in general and the Gambling area were excellent this year and the lists of donations going out after our expenses will be forthcoming at mtgs. and in newsletters.

NEW MEMBER INDUCTED

Lion Debbie Anderson was welcomed to our club by Lion & Past President Ellsa Sorenson and all in attendance at our September 26th meeting.  Thanks to Debbie's sponsor, Lion Pam Hoover.

SUNSHINE CORNER

Please keep in prayers: Lions Bernie Touhey, Bob Guntzburger, and Keith Verthein.
