CHRISTMAS SEASON WRAP-UP
Many thanks go out to all Lions serving various posts throughout the holiday season. Lion Shirley Scollard shared her gratitude toward all the Santa Shop workers at our Christmas party. It's a big day and "We Serve" a lot of children that day, which extends beyond to their families. The Santa Shop makes the holiday brighter for many.
On that note, appreciation also goes out to all those who rang the bell for the Salvation Army at Big Dollar. Lions Ron & Jane Adams do great at signing up folks.
Christmas Baskets (grocery gift certificates) were donated to many throughout the community this year. Volunteer Lions Pat McGinn, Ellsa Sorenson and Tom Spencer were some who helped with this very outreaching project.
Our party was a success again this year. As always, Lion Howie Pickles does a fabulous job with the food, set up, etc. He got his reward this year though, winning that nice permanent wave!
The party was really enhanced this year as new Lions Mike and Jan Cherry played their guitars and sang for us. They are so talented. THANKS!
Organizers Lions Jane Adams, Evelyn Turner and Linda Berg . . . way to go!
FISH HOUSE
The Lions Fish House will be put out January 2, 2012 and is available for use by seniors (62 yrs.+), and the handicapped.  Lion Russ Thompson is the Chair and has organized the worker list. Lion Darlene Erickson is in charge of phone work --- taking reservations and then informing the person in charge that week.
