August 8 - 5:30 PM CORN FEED MTG. -- Bring info for your booth signs -- and all wrap-up final info. Regular Meeting 6:00 PM.
August 19 - "Night Out" @ Bann's 5:30 PM -- Burritos are the special!
August 22 - Gambling Meeting 4:30 PM, Board Meeting 5:00 PM, Regular Meeting 6:00 PM.

McGregor Lions' meetings are at the McGregor Community Center.
PARADE SCHEDULE
The full schedule is on our web site under Duties & Assignments. In August we have Tamarack & Aitkin on the 6th, Kettle River on the 13th, Jacobson on the 27th and Floodwood on the 28th.
CORN FEED WILL BE HERE SOON
Lion Anita did a nice job getting the posters done and distributed. There are still posters left, so please get them out and about. If you can't but know where one is needed, let someone know.
Please come to the last Corn Feed Meeting Aug 8 at 5:30 pm.
DUES PLEASE
Several Lions have annual dues to turn in. Just a reminder they are $60 per person or $100 for a couple. Please remit at a meeting or mail to Lions Secretary Shirley Scollard or the Lions address on this newsletter (return address).
OFFICERS & BOARD INSTALLED
District Governor Bruce Beck was our guest on July 11th. He installed Evelyn Turner as our newest Lion Member and gave her his DG pin. He also installed all officers and board members. His stories from the Seattle International Convention were enjoyable. Lion Scott Turner auctioned off a big beautiful strawberry pie that was made by Lion Marge Selden. Lion Al Norman won at a mere $38! It was a fun evening.
NEW MEMBER CONTEST
Lion Don Pearson announced a contest that will start in August to get in more new members. Details will be finalized in August. The Membership Committee is also working on a new "quick start kit" for new members. Good work.
Need A Ride to a Lions Meeting?
The Membership Committee wants to help. If you need a ride, call one of them and they will find one for you.
NIGHT OUT
Once a month we will have "Night Out" for Lions or others (no Lions shirts or vests) - just for fun. We will put it in the newsletter. Please come if you can! Thanks for the idea, Lion Don.
