PLEASE NOTE MAY MEETING DATES
Due to the school’s sports schedule and Memorial Day in May, our club’s two May meetings have been changed to the 1st and 3rd Mondays instead of our usual 2nd and 4th Mondays. Please mark your calendars. Thank you.
OFFICERS AND BOARD ELECTED
The following Lions were elected at our March 26th meeting: Scott Turner, President; Robin Pearson, 1st Vice President; Mike Kruse, 2nd Vice President; Mike Jackson, 3rd Vice President; Shirley Scollard, Secretary; and Debbie Anderson, Treasurer. The two Board Directors for 2-year terms are: Evelyn Turner and Judy Wignes.
Gambling Manager, Jerry Feucht; Membership Committee: Don Pearson, Jerry Farley, and Carole Holten. Tail Twisters: Tom Scollard, Dick Valley, Ellsa Sorenson, Betty Jo Johnson, and Jan Cherry. Lion Tamers: John Daine, Bob Madeson, Ken Grell, and Tom Spencer. Carry-over officers include two Directors: Jan Christensen and Sharon Lake each having 1 year remaining; and, Past President Larry Turner. Congratulations to all these Lions.
PDG Linda Norby Visits in March
We appreciated Linda driving so far (and she had to get back to work a night shift) and her talk about the Hearing Foundation. Our club has donated over $3,500 to this worthy cause overall.
DEFIBULATOR ADDED TO C. CENTER
Our Board voted to donate the cost of this unit to the City for their purchase of this important addition to the Community Center.
VETERANS MEMORIAL IN AITKIN
We will be contributing to the new memorial after we learned more about it from speakers in March.
